MEET OUR PRACTITIONERS:

HEATHER HAWTHORNE, LMT, CYT, FACIALIST, OWNER OF HAWTHORNE MASSAGE AND SELF CARE

Heather has been a Massage Therapist and Dermalogica Facialist for over 26 years. She is a dedicated and passionate professional who, after all these years, still loves giving (and receiving) therapeutic massage and skin care treatments. Inspired by the beauty of West Seattle’s Puget Sound and its spectacular sunsets, she has created a nurturing and calming space for all to enjoy and to develop healthy, life-long, self-care habits. 

She offers Deep Tissue Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy, Prenatal Massage, Myofascial Release, Fascial Stretching Technique (FST), Sports Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Cupping, TMJ release, Dermalogica Facials  and Young Living Essential Oil Treatments.  

As the owner of Hawthorne Massage and Self Care, she is extremely proud of not only the beautiful space, but also of the talented practitioners who have come together at HMSC. Her career in the yachting industry sees her working with many high profile clients as she travels internationally and returns to West Seattle, both inspired and grateful.

KRISTA ZERBY, LMT, MASTER ESTHETICIAN, LASH ARTIST

Krista brings 20 years of massage and 15 years of esthetic experience to the treatment table. A native Washingtonian with a love for travel, Krista became licensed while living in Hawaii, grew her expertise while living in New York City and has now returned home to practice her trades closer to the family she cherishes. 

In endless awe of the human body, Krista continues to grow her knowledge of it while currently pursuing her nursing degree at South Seattle College. Krista offers a variety of treatments including massage, facials and lash extensions. She specializes in Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Swedish, Sports, Prenatal and Hot Stone massage modalities. 

As a master esthetician, she has knowledge in many areas of skin health and is passionate about providing client education while bringing out the skin's natural glow. Krista also enjoys the artistic aspect of lashing and is here for your classic, hybrid and volumes sets and fills.

JORDAN PARRICK, LMT

Jordan graduated from Bellevue Massage School in 2013. He was inspired to become a massage therapist after being naturally interested in health services and self care. He enjoys working one on one with people to promote a healthier, better self. 

He offers treatment-based and focus work, as well as full body treatments which address specific areas while also understanding the importance of balancing and relaxing the entire body as a whole. Jordan believes that increasing circulation during a massage is vital for effective results. His massage treatments  incorporate a variety of techniques which may include Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Cupping, TMJ release,  and Acupressure.

HENRY PARKER, LMT

Henry has been a licensed massage therapist since 2016. After 3 years working in spas and medical massage clinics in Florida, he moved to Seattle. After moving across the country and settling in Seattle, he took some time away from massage after meeting his wife and started a family. He has recently returned to massage with a passion to help others along on their self-care journeys and has dedicated himself to our community and to building a strong massage practice in West Seattle. We are delighted that he is now part of our family at Hawthorne Massage and Self Care. 

Henry finds great joy in helping clients achieve their health and lifestyle goals by helping them to better understand their bodies and their needs for a healthier life. He offers Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy and Myofascial Release. 

Outside of his massage practice, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son, extensive workouts at the gym, running and enjoying a variety of water activities.

LAURA ZANIESKI, MSAOM, LAC, EAMP

Laura provides Traditional Chinese Medicine treatments including Acupuncture, herbal medicine and Tui Na Massage for: maintaining wellness, treating pain, women's issues, digestive issues, allergies, asthma, liver problems, reproductive and fertility issues, sexual dysfunction, emotional issues, addictions and decreasing stress. Laura  is also an accomplished and Certified Yoga Teacher.
