Heather has been a Massage Therapist and Dermalogica Facialist for over 26 years. She is a dedicated and passionate professional who, after all these years, still loves giving (and receiving) therapeutic massage and skin care treatments. Inspired by the beauty of West Seattle’s Puget Sound and its spectacular sunsets, she has created a nurturing and calming space for all to enjoy and to develop healthy, life-long, self-care habits. 

As the owner of Hawthorne Massage and Self Care, she is extremely proud of not only the beautiful space, but also of the talented practitioners who have come together at HMSC. Her career in the luxury yachting industry sees her working with many high profile clients as she travels internationally and returns to West Seattle, both inspired and grateful.

Mary Frances is a seasoned massage therapist and wellness advocate dedicated to a holistic approach to massage and whole-being wellness. With over 30 years of experience in diverse modalities of bodywork and natural health, she provides personalized care guided by an intuitive understanding of each body’s unique needs.

Among her specialties are Deep Tissue Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT), Integrative Fascial Release, Ortho-Bionomy, Prenatal Massage, and labor support. Beyond bodywork, Mary Frances offers Nutritional Counseling, cleansing guidance, Folk Herbalism, and Women’s Ceremonial Work. KRISTA ZERBY, LMT, RN, MASTER ESTHETICIAN

Krista brings 20 years of massage experience to HMSC. A native Washingtonian with a love for travel, Krista became licensed in Hawaii, grew her expertise while living in New York City, and has now returned home to practice closer to family in the PNW. 

In endless awe of the human body, Krista also holds a degree in Nursing. Krista is currently specializing in Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Swedish and Prenatal Massage. She personalizes care to help clients manage pain, reduce stress, and restore balance. 

With over 15 years of experience as a Master Esthetician, Krista is highly skilled in advanced clinical skincare and aesthetic procedures. She provides  results-driven care, tailored to each client’s unique skin concerns, in order to deliver safe, effective, and consistent outcomes. Dedicated to ongoing education and excellence in her field, Krista takes pride in helping clients achieve optimal skin health and confidence through personalized, medically informed aesthetic care.

Allyson, originally licensed in the State of Hawai‘i, brings the spirit of aloha and a rich blend of cultural influences to every session. With over 10 years of experience as a professional massage therapist and wellness advocate, she is dedicated to a holistic approach to bodywork and whole-being wellness.

Drawing inspiration from her Hawaiian roots, Allyson combines Thai-inspired stretching techniques with elongated therapeutic strokes, tailoring each session to address tension or pain, restore balance, promote relaxation, and enhance overall well-being. Her intuitive approach ensures that every massage is customized to the unique needs of each client, creating a deeply rejuvenating and serene experience.

John, a highly skilled massage therapist with 20 years in the field, graduated from The Augusta School of Massage in Augusta, Georgia. He began his career in 2004, specializing in sports-related modalities, honing his expertise in treatment-centered massage. With over a decade of experience at premier luxury resorts in Orlando, Florida, John mastered advanced techniques, including hot stone massage and refined Swedish/deep tissue fusion. A dedicated powerlifter and cyclist, John incorporates a dynamic approach to therapeutic massage, combining Myofascial release, deep tissue techniques, and assisted stretching to promote optimal wellness and recovery.

Shelby uses pressure that ranges from gentle to deeply intense, and has a loyal following with clients who want substantial depth without sacrificing relaxation. Rehima is a licensed Massage Therapist  and an Esthetician with over 19 years of experience in massage therapy and 15 years in skincare and esthetics. She is passionate about helping clients heal, relax, and restore balance through therapeutic bodywork while also supporting healthy, radiant skin with personalized skincare treatments. 

She specializes in Deep Tissue, relaxation / Swedish, Hot Stone, and Prenatal massage. In Esthetics, my focus includes facials and customized facial treatments tailored to each client’s unique skin needs. Her approach combines skill, intuition, and a genuine love for both massage and skincare to help clients feel confident and rejuvenated.

Based in Seattle, she is originally from Ethiopia and lives with her husband and children. She takes pride in creating a welcoming, professional environment where every client feels cared for, supported, and renewed.
