HEATHER HAWTHORNE, LMT, CYT, FACIALIST, OWNER OF HAWTHORNE MASSAGE AND SELF CARE

Heather has been a Massage Therapist and Dermalogica Facialist for over 26 years. She is a dedicated and passionate professional who, after all these years, still loves giving (and receiving) therapeutic massage and skin care treatments. Inspired by the beauty of West Seattle’s Puget Sound and its spectacular sunsets, she has created a nurturing and calming space for all to enjoy and to develop healthy, life-long, self-care habits. 

She offers Deep Tissue Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy, Prenatal Massage, Myofascial Release, Fascial Stretching Technique (FST), Sports Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Cupping, TMJ release, Dermalogica Facials  and Young Living Essential Oil Treatments.  

As the owner of Hawthorne Massage and Self Care, she is extremely proud of not only the beautiful space, but also of the talented practitioners who have come together at HMSC. Her career in the luxury yachting industry sees her working with many high profile clients as she travels internationally and returns to West Seattle, both inspired and grateful.

MARY FRANCES LITTLE BRAVE, LMT, CLINICAL HERBALIST

Mary Frances is a seasoned massage therapist and wellness advocate dedicated to a holistic approach to massage and whole-being wellness. With over 30 years of experience in diverse modalities of bodywork and natural health, she provides personalized care guided by an intuitive understanding of each body’s unique needs.

Among her specialties are Deep Tissue Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT), Integrative Fascial Release, Ortho-Bionomy, Prenatal Massage, and labor support. Beyond bodywork, Mary Frances offers Nutritional Counseling, cleansing guidance, Folk Herbalism, and Women’s Ceremonial Work. She is trauma-informed and a passionate supporter of health freedom, fostering a safe and empowering environment for her clients.

ANTHONY GITCH, LMT, EDUCATOR, PAIN MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

With nearly 20 years of clinical experience, Anthony brings precision, depth, and intention to every session. His work includes medical massage, deep tissue, relaxation, energy work, NeuroDermal Repositioning, Functional Muscle Assessment with corrective therapy, and his original NeuroRelief Method™ technique.

Anthony specializes in helping people with Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue, stress-related conditions, chronic pain, post-injury discomfort, migraines and anxiety. 

As a former professional horse trainer and rider, he understands chronic pain from the inside out. Anthony has also worked as the lead therapist for a college football team, managing injury, recovery, and performance. He is the Chair of a Washington State DOH Advisory Committee for Certified Counselor and Hypnotherapist, and an approved Continuing Education Provider, teaching other professionals.

KRISTA ZERBY, LMT, RN, MASTER ESTHETICIAN

Krista brings 20 years of massage experience to HMSC. A native Washingtonian with a love for travel, Krista became licensed in Hawaii, grew her expertise while living in New York City, and has now returned home to practice closer to family in the PNW. 

In endless awe of the human body, Krista also holds a degree in Nursing. Krista is currently specializing in Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Swedish and Prenatal Massage. She personalizes care to help clients manage pain, reduce stress, and restore balance. 

With over 15 years of experience as a Master Esthetician, Krista is highly skilled in advanced clinical skincare and aesthetic procedures. She provides  results-driven care, tailored to each client’s unique skin concerns, in order to deliver safe, effective, and consistent outcomes. Dedicated to ongoing education and excellence in her field, Krista takes pride in helping clients achieve optimal skin health and confidence through personalized, medically informed aesthetic care.

Krista believes a safe space and compassionate approach offers the greatest healing potential. Outside of the treatment room, Krista is invested in promoting animal welfare and enjoying outdoor adventures.

GABRIELA VELAZQUEZ, LMP, REHAB AND POST-SURGERY SPECIALIST:

Gabriela has been an L.M.P. for over 20 years, which includes

working with multiple Chiropractors, Physical Therapists, and Naturopathic Physicians. She specialize in Rehab work for post-surgical procedures, such as Total Hip Replacements, Spinal surgeries and fusions, Rotator Cuff surgeries, and many others. 

She has also worked with chronic pain patients and provided Rehab Treatment for most musculoskeletal injuries and work-related repetitive injuries, as well as M.V.A’s. 

She truly believes the body can heal, if given the right environment. Gabriela greatly advocates for healthy lifestyle

changes and encourages her clients to seek healthier self-care options/changes for themselves.

Her goal is to be a motivational assistant in her client’s healing process and to help them acquire specific healthy lifestyle changes and tools to reach their best physical self. 

Please note that Gabriela does not accept Prenatal massage clients within the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. Superbills are not available for treatments with Gabriela.

ATSUKO ARAI,  INTUITIVE READING AND ENERGY HEALING:

In addition to Atsuko's experience and developed skills in many forms of energetic and healing work, she has credentials as a Licensed Massage Therapist, a Clinical Advanced Hypnotherapist, Certification in Past Life Regression Therapy, in Reiki Energy Healing and in Cranial Sacral work.  Atsuko adds, “my purpose is to help my clients by touching their lives and guide them on their path of self-discovery with transformational intuitive energy work. I am dedicated to therapy and I love sharing and teaching others."
