General Information

NEW CLIENTS BOOKING THEIR FIRST TREATMENT AT HMSC WILL RECEIVE A $20 DISCOUNT. USE CODENEWCLIENT20 WHEN SCHEDULING ONLINE. THE DISCOUNT CODE IS VALID FOR ONE USE AND MAY NOT BE USED WITH DISCOUNTED "FIRST TIME VISIT" APPOINTMENT, WHEN USING A GIFT CERTIFICATE AS PAYMENT OR WITH ANY OTHER DISCOUNTS OR CODES.

When scheduling your appointment with us, please "Sign Up" and create an account with a password to save your information,  fill out your intake forms and have access to your booking history. Please fill out the intake forms before arriving for your appointment. Intake forms can only be filled out while booking an appointment or from your booking confirmation email. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to find parking and for consultation with your therapist. 

A valid credit card is required to schedule an appointment. Your card will be stored securely and will NOT be charged, except in the case of "no-shows" or cancellations within 24 hours. Payments are accepted via credit and debit card, HSA card, Venmo, cash, and local check.

All other practitioners may be scheduled through this website or at www.hawthornemassagesc.as.me. 

PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT ACCEPT INSURANCE AS PAYMENT, nor do we accept PIP cases , L&I claims or Health Insurance as payment.  However, we can provide you with a Superbill receipt for your insurance carrier to reimburse you directly. Please indicate if you would like one when filling out your intake forms and ask your therapist to provide one for you. Superbills are not available for discounted "First TimeVisit" appointments or when paying for massage treatments with a Gift Certificate. It is the client's responsibility to provide any documentation needed to their insurance carrier.

GIFT CERTIFICATES are available for purchase at www.hawthornemassagesc.as.me  or through the "Book Now" buttons throughout this website. Gift certificates are sold in dollar amounts so they can be used towards any service. Use the name and email address of the recipient. That email address will receive a confirmation email of the purchase which includes a printable version of the gift certificate. Use the code that is on the gift certificate to redeem its value when scheduling the appointment online at www.hawthornemassagesc.as.me. Gift certificates are transferable and do not expire. They are refundable up to 30 days after purchase. 

Please reschedule or cancel at least 24 hours before the beginning of your appointment to avoid being charged a cancellation fee of the full price of your scheduled appointment. By scheduling, you authorize Hawthorne Massage and Self Care to charge your credit card a no-show fee of the full treatment price should you miss your visit without 24 hours notification. Exceptions may be offered for some emergencies and sudden illnesses. Re-scheduling your missed appointment within 7 days of your original appointment date may avoid any cancellation fees. 

Our treatment rooms include high efficiency HEPA air purifiers and one of our rooms has an air extraction fan which improves the air quality and circulation of our treatment spaces. Facial masks are no longer required but if you would prefer to wear one or would like for your practitioner to wear one, your request will be honored. Disinfection protocols are in place in all areas of our clinic. 

IF YOU HAVE FLU OR COLD SYMPTOMS OF ANY KIND, PLEASE RESCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT. IF YOU HAVE AN EMERGENCY WITHIN THE 24 HOUR CANCELLATION PERIOD, PLEASE TEXT OR CALL YOUR THERAPIST DIRECTLY TO RESCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT (YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO DO THIS ONLINE) OR CONTACT HEATHER AT 206-617-3454. THEIR NUMBERS ARE PROVIDED ON THE "CONTACT US" PAGE. RESCHEDULING YOUR APPOINTMENT WILL ALLOW YOU TO AVOID PAYING THE CANCELLATION FEE.
